I’m a Director and Editor with over a decade of experience telling stories across documentary, immersive and branded content.
Whatever the format, I keep coming back to the same question: how can the medium itself pull an audience closer to the story, rather than just showing it to them?
That curiosity has taken me to both extremes of the spectrum. On one end, I direct immersive experiences that drop audiences right into the middle of a moment — no glass screen, no safety net. On the other, I have a soft spot for older, imperfect formats: the kind with grain, character, and just enough flaws to feel like a memory rather than a recording. I’m equally happy wrangling a 360-degree rig or fussing over a decades-old camera, because ultimately the tech is just a means to an end — the story, and the feeling it leaves behind, is the whole point.
On smaller productions, I’m a one-man band: self-shooting director, editor and producer, usually running on strong coffee. On bigger ones, I get to hand off some of that chaos and collaborate with specialist crews. Right now my focus is split between documentary and immersive work, with narrative filmmaking simmering away in the background through personal projects — partly craft, partly an excuse to make things nobody’s paying me for.
